Whether we are making work directly for a private client or for a trade professional, our commissioning process will always start with a simple conversation to establish the brief. With this we can offer an idea of viability and a preliminary estimate of cost. Typically our work is split between pieces that we have already designed and made before (which we often adapt or tailor to a specific brief) or pieces that we design from a blank sheet. For work that requires design work we initially invoice for this separately to reduce financial commitment before the final design and price is agreed upon. Once the drawings are signed off we take a 50% deposit to book the job into our diary, with the remainder due prior to delivery.
All of our work fits within the parameters of solid wood construction, traditional joinery, emphasis on the handmade and with a reference to historical vernacular designs.
